You need to consider what would happen if you or your partner lost their job or fell seriously ill or even worse, died. As with everything there are numerous critical illness products on the market and each provider covers different types of illness. Once more it is you and your own individual circumstances and family history that’s important.

You also need to consider whether any protection is to be held in one of the many different kinds of Trust. We can provide the necessary advice and guidance.

  • I have terminal Illness on my existing policy so I’m covered for critical illness, is that right?

Sadly no, that’s not the case. We will have to review your existing arrangements and check what you do have but terminal Illness is not the same as critical Illness.

  • I’ve just left my senior Management position and have set up my own development consultancy business. I no longer have the life cover from my employer. I’m 41. Can I get life cover now?

Yes you should be able to get life assurance and there are different options available to you. Please contact us and we’ll happily discuss.

  • Do I have to have the same amount of life cover and the same amount of critical illness if I want both areas covered?

No, you do not have to have the same sums assured for life and critical illness. You arrange what you need, that fits your circumstances, budget and goals.
